Ever find yourself telling a story from years ago—only to stop halfway and say, “I really ought to write this down someday”?
That’s what Memoir Club is here for. Not to turn you into a bestselling author, just to help you save the stories that matter—the ones that make you laugh, stop and think, or explain why you are the way you are.
If you’ve ever thought, “Someday I’ll write that down,” but never quite got around to it, you’re in the right place.

A Good Place to Start
Memoir Club is a friendly, no-pressure space for folks—mostly 50 and up—who want to turn memories into stories worth saving. You don’t need to be a writer. You don’t need fancy software. You don’t even need a plan.
All you need is a willingness to look back with curiosity. We’ll take it from there.
Each week, members get a free coaching email called Story Sparks. Think of it as a gentle nudge—part prompt, part encouragement, part “you’ve got this.” Some folks use it to start journaling. Others find themselves writing stories they haven’t thought about in decades. However you use it, it’ll get you thinking, remembering, and maybe even smiling.
When you’re ready for more, you’ll find tools and guidance that meet you where you are. Not some how-to-write-a-memoir course with homework and red pens—but a path forward. A way to shape the stories you’ve lived into something your family (and your future self) will be glad you wrote down.

How We Make It Easier
We don’t throw you into the deep end. We hand you a flashlight and say, “Let’s poke around in here.”
Memoir Club follows a simple process that works whether you’re writing your first sentence or your fiftieth page:
✅ Start by remembering—our prompts help with that.
✅ Look for what connects the stories—sometimes a theme pops up on its own.
✅ Begin shaping things—no need to be fancy.
✅ And eventually, you’ll have something that feels whole. It might not be a book, but it’ll be yours.
There are no deadlines. No grades. No writing contests. Just space to remember, reflect, and share if you choose.

Who’s Behind This?
That’d be me—Wayne Jordan. I’ve been an antique dealer, piano technician, magazine editor, book author, and ghostwriter. These days I’m a storyteller and podcast host living in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.
I’ve spent the last couple of decades helping folks put memories into words. Some wanted to write books. Most just wanted to pass along the kind of stories that don’t fit in a family tree chart.
I’m trained in Guided Autobiography and Story Stitch facilitation, but more importantly, I know how to keep things simple and encouraging. No jargon. No judgment. Just good questions, real stories, and a bit of patience.

Want to Give It a Try?
There’s no pressure. No sales pitch waiting in your inbox.
Just sign up for Story Sparks and see what comes to mind. One memory at a time—you might surprise yourself.
